The Catalyst group is part of the Catalyst program coordinated by Baptist World Aid, which aims to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. Catalyst is a way for people with a passion for social justice to act on God’s call to do justice. The concept is that change occurs when we speak out together. All the Catalyst groups around Australia focus on the same themes and as such have a greater impact on politicians and the community than if we act alone.

Our group follows the Catalyst program which aims to make our church, community and politicians aware of social justice issues. If you have a passion to help those living in extreme poverty around the world, those living in slavery and other social justice issues then come and join the Toronto Catalyst Group.

We meet on the third Sunday of each month except for December and January from 3pm to 5pm.
